Responsibilities

  • Architect and optimize performant low-latency trading and high-throughput training systems
  • Work extensively with traders and researchers
  • Create tools to analyze data for patterns
  • Make market observations and conduct post-trade analysis
  • Develop, augment, and calibrate exchange simulators
  • Operate the team’s high-frequency trading strategies

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD student
  • Majoring in computer science, mathematics, physics, electrical engineering, or related fields
  • Proficient in an object-oriented programming language (C++ and Python preferred)
  • Working knowledge of Linux/Unix
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Passion for new technologies and ideas
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Interest in financial markets

Preferred Qualifications (not required)

  • Past industry experience
  • Experience as a Teaching Assistant and/or participation in relevant Olympiads
  • Familiarity with machine learning, data analysis, market research, and data modeling

Compensation

Anticipated New York and Chicago weekly base salary range: $3,500–$5,700 per week.
