Position

Role: JR Reinsurance Accountant

Responsibilities

• Support Facultative Premium handling and process reinsurance accounts.
• Assist in monitoring and recording incoming cash and perform reporting and reconciliation activities.
• Support leading and oversight of the work performed by the processing unit/center for assigned clients, accounts, or processes.
• Provide guidance on reinsurance accounting matters and authorize and/or escalate financial transactions and/or payments per the authority matrix.
• Escalate issues to management and/or senior management as needed.
• Manage internal and external client relationships as assigned and supervise processing units/centers to achieve operational and financial targets.
• Perform reinsurance accounting operational duties as required.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience in reinsurance accounting and related processing activities.
• Ability to monitor, record, and report on cash flows and reconciliation activities.
• Capacity to guide processing teams and escalate issues per the defined authority matrix.
• Strong communication skills to manage internal and external client relationships.
• Proactive approach to achieving operational and financial targets within a processing environment.
