About the Role
Spotify is seeking a highly analytical and motivated Analyst to join the Licensing Finance team within FP&A. In this role, you will help shape and evaluate the financial impact of Spotify’s major label licensing agreements while also supporting royalties forecasting and performance analysis that directly influence the long-term economics of our music business.
This position sits at the center of deal strategy and cost forecasting, connecting negotiated contract terms to real-world usage, payouts, and margin outcomes. You will partner closely with Licensing, Legal, Royalty Operations, Data, Product, and Finance teams to model complex agreements, forecast music costs, and provide data-driven insights that inform high-impact business decisions. Responsibilities
- Analyze and model the financial impact of major label licensing agreements.
- Support royalties forecasting and performance analysis that influence financial outcomes.
- Link negotiated contract terms to usage, payouts, and margin results.
- Collaborate with Licensing, Legal, Royalty Operations, Data, Product, and Finance teams to model complex agreements and forecast music costs.
- Provide data-driven insights to inform high-impact business decisions.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
- Experience in FP&A or licensing finance, with the ability to translate contracts into financial impact.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders.
