Assistant Dealer

Overview

We are looking to fill an Assistant Dealer secondment role in the Unsecured Funding team. The role focuses on the short-term funding side of desk activity and works closely with the wider team.

We’re looking for a driven and high-performing candidate who wants to take the next step of their career journey in the Funding team. The short-term desk is one of the most active in front office in terms of trading activity; attention to detail is essential.

The individual will be capable of supporting the daily execution of short-term funding, primarily ensuring externally and internally reported liquidity metrics are not breached. They will also look to seek discretionary opportunities if they arise. The role will involve reporting and analysis, while providing an opportunity to learn more about short-term markets.

Responsibilities

Stakeholders & Collaboration

You will interact with external counterparties including brokers and investment bank dealers, as well as some investors directly. Internally, you’ll provide market updates to various stakeholders and input to ongoing liquidity discussions. You should be a good fit for the culture of the Treasury team and advocate for the organization’s values and doing the right thing.

Contract & Location

This is a 14-month secondment opportunity.

For this role, you will spend at least two days per week, or if part-time, 40% of your working time, based at our London office. The hiring manager will provide further details on how this works.
