Do you enjoy collaborating with multinational and cross-functional teams? We’re looking for ambitious students to join our 2027 Summer Internship Program within Group Internal Consulting (GIC).
What you’ll do
- Take responsibility for delivering Risk, Compliance, and Regulatory change projects end-to-end across business divisions and group functions.
- Support remediation initiatives addressing self-identified, audit, or regulatory control gaps.
- Manage regulatory change topics across 1st and 2nd Line of Defense and coordinate execution.
- Work on regulatory implementation projects as junior Subject Matter Expert for specific topics.
- Communicate effectively with all audiences in a structured manner and collaborate with diverse teams to develop the best solution.
- Actively contribute to the strategy and ambitions of Group Internal Consulting.

Team
Group Internal Consulting (GIC) is UBS's internal consulting unit. We are a driven and diverse team with over 700 people across four regions. Part of the Group Integration Office (GIO), we work closely with divisions and functions to drive integration, transformation, and change across UBS, supporting our firm in achieving strategic goals. Our focus is on delivering high-quality services with fast onboarding and leveraging institutional knowledge. We offer consultants a diverse portfolio of projects and opportunities to work across the firm. Preferred qualifications & candidate profile
- Penultimate year of study and expected graduation by June 2028.
- Initial experience in working in a project-based environment.
- Analytical and conceptual skillset with a problem-solving, pragmatic attitude.
- Interest in the financial services industry and energy to work in fast-paced environments with high expectations and tight deadlines.
- Strong written communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English; other languages are a plus.
- Values aligned with hard-working, trustworthy, dedicated, and collaborative principles.
- Motivation to work in a business with high demands and tight deadlines.
- Evidence of how experimental and responsible use of AI can improve outcomes and efficiency.
