What you’ll do
Our teams partner closely with Core Technology Infrastructure (CTI) to ensure the availability and performance of essential services, including network, cloud and compute platforms, enterprise storage, and databases that support trading systems, payment platforms, mobile banking, and other critical applications used globally by clients and employees. In addition to application support and engineering, APS&E delivers a wide range of non-technical and hybrid technology services, including:
- Market data services and operations
- Business and portfolio operations
- Infrastructure and delivery project management
- Global incident, change, and problem management
Program Overview
The Technology Summer Analyst Program offers undergraduates the opportunity to join non-software development roles within the Application Production Services & Engineering (APS&E) organization—where technology meets real-world impact. APS&E keeps the bank’s technology reliable, resilient, and secure. We collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to design, implement, support, and improve enterprise applications and platforms using modern engineering practices and automation tools.
Our 10-week Summer Analyst Program provides a tailored experience based on interests, development opportunities, and current business needs. Analyst positions support teams working on the latest technology and emerging trends. The program starts with a firm-wide orientation and induction, followed by meaningful team assignments where Summer Analysts are treated as associates. You’ll have access to on-the-job support, opportunities to connect with senior leaders, and networking and developmental events. You’ll take on responsibilities with clear goals, regular feedback, and a formal review process. Throughout the program, you’ll:
- Work on real systems, processes, and challenges
- Learn how AI and automation are transforming technology operations
- Build foundational skills that translate into careers

Potential Roles in Application Production Services & Engineering (APS&E)
Production Services Specialist
Provides support to end users by addressing incident and problem management issues across multiple applications, with a primary focus on leading the triage of all business-critical incidents. Responsibilities include understanding and ensuring compliance with Incident Management and Problem Management policies and procedures. This role enhances client experience with full ownership of restoring disruptions to applications. (Opportunities across various lines of business e.g. Markets, Banking, Corporate Investment Banking, Consumer, Preferred, Small Business, Enterprise Risk & Finance, Employee Experience Technology, Global Information Security, etc.)
Technology Operations Specialist
Participates in planning, development, and implementation of infrastructure solutions involving cross-functional technical experts to meet deployment requirements aligned with available playbooks and technical blueprints. As a technology domain SME, provide and communicate technology solutions across audiences including technical, managerial, and vendor stakeholders. Engages with and manages new projects, lights-on system upgrades, ongoing BAU, and advanced support for incidents and problems management.
Solutions Engineer
Defines the engineering approach across the end-to-end technology stack, coordinates across teams to deliver secure engineering design solutions meeting business outcomes and enterprise architecture. Creates and ensures system design solutions comply with enterprise design and engineering standards. Advocates modern Agile solution delivery practices and promotes strong design, engineering, and organizational practices.
DevOps Engineer
Responsible for configuring and delivering software delivery automation. Ensures deployments meet standards for access, ownership, and authentication. Ensures release pipelines are well designed and follow Continuous Delivery (CD) practices. Understands development, testing practices, software delivery tools, and runtime application standards and integrates them during implementation.
Service Delivery (Project Management)
Liaises with cross-functional infrastructure teams to manage delivery of infrastructure work for APS initiatives and projects. Remediates, escalates, coordinates, and resolves issues, prioritizing work as needed while ensuring proper TI/APS funding levels. Engages application teams to ensure awareness, planning, and implementation of TI/APS strategies, programs, and objectives.
