Full-time Intern - Compliance

Job Title

20-week internship role with the Compliance team in Singapore.

Division Summary

The Asia Compliance Department is based in Singapore, servicing the Singapore and Shanghai offices. The Asia Compliance Team consists of three members. In addition to overseeing compliance matters pertaining to Singapore and Shanghai, the Asia Compliance team provides a level of functional support to and works closely with Group Compliance.

Job Purpose

Support the Asia Compliance team during a 20-week internship in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide junior support to Asia Compliance Team members on general compliance administrative tasks, reporting, and other ad hoc duties as assigned.
• Assist with the completion of the Annual Compliance Plan 2026, including testing of name lists, back-testing of transactions, and reviewing/updating training materials.
• Assist with the statistical data collations for the Quarterly and Annual Financial Crime Risk Assessment exercises; and with monthly reporting preparation.
• Help review and update select internal compliance policies and procedures and identify opportunities to automate where possible.

Required Skills, Knowledge, Experience and Values

• Studying towards a business or law degree.
• Chinese language capabilities preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work in ambiguity and demonstrate attention to detail.
• High level of integrity.
