Experienced Analyst - Restructuring Advisory

Position

Analyst, Liability Management & Restructuring Advisory Team — New York City, Evercore.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with senior bankers on industry-transforming, multi-billion dollar transactions around the world.
• Join a small transaction team that provides a platform to learn investment banking and assume high levels of responsibility early in the career.
• Engage in a variety of strategic advisory assignments, including liability management and Chapter 11 restructurings, tender and exchange offers, distressed M&A, bank amendments, private and syndicated debt financings, and evaluation of strategic alternatives.

• Ambitious, self-directed, creative, and resourceful with a genuine interest in a career in investment banking.
• intellectually curious and eager to learn; capable multitasker in a demanding environment.
• Excellent team-based attitude with a relentless work ethic and high energy level.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Exceptional attention to detail; calm under pressure with a track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Intellectual curiosity and an interest in finance; eagerness to learn and be involved in complex transactions.
• 1–2 years of experience in the finance industry; experience in distress/restructuring or leveraged finance is ideal but not required.

Compensation & Benefits

Expected Base Salary Range: $120,000 – $140,000.
