Restructuring Associate

Join the global leader in risk and financial advisory solutions—Kroll. We are seeking dynamic individuals to join our Restructuring Team as Associates. This role offers exposure to a wide range of interesting and challenging deals, often spanning multiple jurisdictions, with opportunities to develop expertise in insolvency, restructuring, and litigation support.

As an Associate in our Restructuring practice, you’ll work with lenders, investors, companies, and their advisors in distressed and urgent situations. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to high-impact transactions and support clients through their most important events.

Navigating Responsibilities

  • Business Involvement: Engage in high-profile insolvency and restructuring assignments and investigations, including complex cross-border matters.
  • Support Engagement: Assist with day-to-day management of engagements such as financial and operational restructuring, official and voluntary liquidations, and other formal and informal insolvency procedures.
  • Analyze, Investigate and Forecast: Compile and analyze books and records, inventory assets, process creditor claims, and perform cash-flow forecasting, financial analysis, and financial investigations.
  • Craft Materials: Draft sections of detailed, complex reports and documents for courts, creditors, and stakeholders.
  • Project Monitoring: Monitor progress and ensure timely completion of client work to statutory and client deadlines.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Current Degree Pursuit: Pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
  • Qualification & Experience: CA and/or CPA qualification with a minimum of 1–2 years of relevant experience in restructuring, forensic accounting, or insolvency advisory.
  • Problem Solver: Ability to practically apply knowledge to identify issues and solve complex problems.
  • Analytical Thinker with Good Writing Skills: Strong financial, business analytical, and report-writing capabilities.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and spoken communication.
  • Pro-active; Self-motivated and Collaborative: Demonstrates business sense, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work well with others.
  • Confidentiality: Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately.
