About ITTS

In EY International Tax and Transaction Services (ITTS), we provide flexible opportunities to develop single, dual, or multi-disciplinary tax skillsets, including corporate and international tax advisory, transaction tax advisory, business incentives advisory, and/or transfer pricing. You will work with ITTS engagement teams on tax advisory projects, helping businesses as they navigate various stages of growth—establishment, expansion, transformation, exit—in domestic or international markets.

Your responsibilities

• Advise on market entry or exit tax issues and workarounds
• Review legal entity structures and transactional/operating models
• Help manage tax risks by evaluating overall tax strategy, governance, and tax risk management frameworks
• Understand business objectives and value drivers to align tax and operating models, optimizing opportunities such as R&D grants or deductions, incentives, or other government support
• For mergers and acquisitions, advise on acquisition, disposal, refinancing, restructuring, or initial public offerings, and support negotiations throughout the transaction lifecycle from due diligence to post-deal implementation
• Assist with cross-border, multi-country projects to navigate the evolving global tax landscape, including tax and transfer pricing restructuring, tax disputes, or BEPS 2.0 considerations

Qualifications and skills

• A degree related to Accounting/Finance/Tax/Business/Economics/Engineering/Information Technology; CPA, CA, or similar certification
• At least 1 year of relevant experience for an experienced associate role, or at least 3 years for a consultant role
• Open mind with the ability to adapt and perform under pressure
• Strong problem-solving and numerical skills
• Time and project management capabilities
• Effective and impactful communication skills (written, verbal, relationship building)
