Overview
Jefferies is seeking an experienced vice president to help cover the clean energy sector. Job duties and requirements include:
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain detailed company models
- Stay on top of company news, track filings, listen to conference calls
- Write first-look notes, contribute to longer thematic reports, and company initiations
- Field questions and communicate with sales and/or clients
- Maintain relationships with company IR teams
Qualifications
- 1+ years experience covering clean energy on the sell-side, buy-side, banking or consulting
- Experienced in FactSet and/or Bloomberg; knowledge of industry-specific databases also helpful
- Advanced Excel modeling and writing skills
- Strong knowledge of accounting, corporate finance and energy-specific terminology/concepts
Education
- Bachelor’s/University degree
- CFA or progression towards CFA preferred
- FINRA Series 63, 86 and 87 preferred (required within 5 months of hire)
Compensation & Location
Primary Location: Full Time
Salary Range: $100,000 - $120,000

The salary offered will take into consideration an individual’s experience level and qualifications.
