General Summary

Job Scope

• Daily equipment uptime of the individual process / equipment
• Take full accountability for his assigned equipment
• Maximize the utilization of resources to achieve high operating efficiency and productivity
• Maintain sustainable manufacturing equipment to achieve targeted performance index
• Contribute permanent solutions to resolve equipment issues
• Contribute improvement projects on equipment uptime, OEE, spare parts and costs
• Build strong equipment knowledge base

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct PM / calibration / conversions as defined in the schedule for individual equipment
• Troubleshoot basic equipment issues
• Deliver the machine to production after every PM, conversion or repair in good working condition and in compliance with safety standards
• Comply with safety standards during machine PM / conversions / repairs / chemical handling
• Comply with the conversion and post PM buy-off checklist
• Strictly comply with settings defined by process parameter specifications & tolerance
• Withdraw spare parts from MPC for machine repairs
• Service/repair tooling/jigs/machine parts timely to maintain spares availability
• Collaborate with the engineer on machine setup for new product/material/process during pilot runs and ensure process readiness

Education / Experience Requirements

• Diploma in Engineering or equivalent Technical Certificate
• Possesses technical competencies in his field of study
• Ability to work independently, be hands-on, and dive into technical details as required
• Experience with computer systems and proficient with MS PowerPoint, Excel and Word
• Knowledge of computer-based control systems, electro-mechanical pneumatics applications, vacuum and plasma technologies, high thermal wafer processing is welcomed
• Preferably with knowledge in dicing, grinding and wafer-bonding
