ING in Asia Pacific

Singapore is the regional headquarters for ING's Wholesale Banking (WB) business in Asia, which includes all WB business lines such as Financial Markets, Strategic Products, Sectors, Lending and Transaction Services and other support functions.

What does the Country Management Team do in ING?

The team supports the Singapore Country Manager in running the day-to-day activities related to the Singapore business. This includes Governance, Regulatory Compliance, and business strategy execution.

What would you be doing?

You will be supporting the Business Manager, Wholesale Banking, Singapore with a variety of Singapore branch and business management related activities. Your tasks include, but are not limited to:

  • Support the country manager and business manager - WB Singapore in running the various governance and Branch committees.
  • Support regional / APAC initiatives that originate from Singapore or from the region.
  • Prepare meeting packs, internal memorandums and presentations as required. Follow up on action items, deliverables, and internal and external commitments to ensure they are tracked and completed on time.
  • Manage ad-hoc requests to meet business needs.

What qualities and skills are we looking for?

We are looking for a passionate individual who meets the following criteria:

  • Quick learner.
  • Currently studying Commerce/Finance/Accounting.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Enjoys interacting with and working with a variety of stakeholders.
