About the role

KPMG in Singapore’s Governance and Risk (G&R) Business is a market-leading practice that advises on solutions in Governance, Risk and Compliance transformational activities. We provide comprehensive advisory solutions in areas such as Corporate Governance, Enterprise Risk Management, Internal Audit, Sustainability and Accounting Advisory. Working with top-tier clients in both private and public sectors, we are trusted advisors and are currently looking for undergraduates to embark on an internship program with us.

The incumbent will work closely with Consultants from our G&R business and gain deep exposure across projects, collaborating with project teams in areas such as Corporate Governance, Enterprise Risk Management, Internal Audit, and niche fields like Sustainability Consulting. This opportunity offers significant learning and networking opportunities as you build relationships with internal stakeholders and clients while gaining practical, first-hand experience in a consulting career from the outset.

Responsibilities

• Support consultants on projects by developing frameworks to address new regulatory requirements, facilitate risk workshops and governance conversations with C-suite clients, and highlight improvement insights on business processes.
• Advise on climate and sustainability topics across sectors such as Financial Services, Transport, Healthcare, Education, Real Estate, and Government.
• Build understanding of solutions and produce analyses, reports, or presentations outlining findings and recommendations.
• Deliver assignments to a high level of professionalism and client satisfaction.
• Assist in assessing and developing sound and effective assurance and internal control frameworks.
• Facilitate and support meetings and workshops, including preparing workshop materials, taking notes, and recording meeting minutes.
• Contribute to a range of engagements across advisory, assurance, and strategy development teams.
• Conduct core analyses and market research on reporting.

• Detail-oriented with a penchant for curiosity.
• Ability to write clearly and articulate ideas effectively.
• Business & Accountancy students are encouraged to apply; undergraduates from any discipline are also welcome.
• Relevant data analytics skills will be advantageous (not a must-have).
