Shipping Associate (Material Handler)

Job Description / Preferred Qualifications

• Read, learn, understand, and interpret drawing/blueprints and work instructions, and other instructions written or verbal, to complete crating of tools / products or components according to established guidelines and quality standards.
• Manage inventory following established guidelines and procedures including labeling and locating parts, picking parts from appropriate locations specified and recording and communicating inventory levels.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, workplace safety, and maintain all equipment according to maintenance plans and established procedures.
• Help customers resolve shipment issues and complaints when they arise.
• Maintain shipment paperwork, records, and digital databases and perform additional administrative, clerical, or managerial duties as requested.
• Support internal and other relevant departments (e.g. Planners and productions) to ensure all orders are fulfilled on time.
• Coordinate with CM to perform GR; coordinate with traffic and third-party warehouse to re-label shipment and release to forwarders for shipment arrangement.
• Fulfill orders by packaging necessary materials and preparing them for shipment.
• Identify and locate the right products during the shipping process.
• Record inventory status and ensure deliveries properly match work orders.
• Collaborate with internal departments to locate missing packages, fix incorrect deliveries and replace damaged products.
• Practice problem solving and troubleshooting techniques as part of a team responsible for realizing continuous improvement to products and processes.
• Require supporting operations during weekends and public holidays.
• Undertake any other ad-hoc duties assigned by superior.
• Forklift operation certification required.

Minimum Qualifications

• Requires a minimum of 1–2 years of related experience
• Diploma or equivalent
