Job Summary

Join the customer success management team, which includes account management and project management responsibilities. Learn from CSMs on the daily tasks they perform to service clients and upsell/cross-sell to existing clients.

What the Intern Can Learn During the Internship

  • Develop an in-depth understanding of the FX market microstructure and marketplace dynamics.
  • Prepare regular weekly and monthly write-ups of SGX FX Asia client meetings and new client details for field sales.
  • Create monthly sales and account management presentation materials.
  • Review and data-mine current client trading volumes, trends, inactivity, and opportunities for sales and revenue generation.
  • Conduct competitive analysis (spreads, volume, clients, product differences) across competitors.
  • Gain exposure to sales and marketing through account management, sales, face-to-face or digital conferences, client interactions, and marketing events.
  • Analyze profitability of customer segments by product.
  • Develop technological, product, and functional FX understanding.
  • Learn how to upsell/cross-sell products to clients.
  • Understand the workflows of different clients and provide value-add to various segments by identifying opportunities.
  • Develop a critical thinking mindset.

Job Responsibilities

  • Monitor rejections and coordinate with liquidity providers accordingly.
  • Assist in creating marketing materials and pitch documents, or adapt them for the local region.
  • Help prepare regional meetings for the regional team.
  • Assist the team in setting up new users.
  • Onboard LPs and new accounts for new or existing clients.
  • Support the team in managing large client projects by coordinating with internal stakeholders.
  • Assist CSMs with upselling features and related projects.
  • Learn about the Foreign Exchange market, our clients, and their current and future requirements, and the functions within SGX FX.
  • Provide functional/technical support (L1/L2) for all SGX FX clients.

Job Requirements

  • Strong command of English; Mandarin is a plus but not required.
  • Understanding of SaaS Cloud computing knowledge.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft tools, including reporting, Power Pivot, and attention to detail.
  • VBA skills, SQL skills, and Python scripting are an added advantage.
  • Good customer service skills.
