What the Role Entails

About the Infra and Network Tech team is part of the Tencent Overseas IT department. The team is responsible for building and maintaining systems for internal IT and game publishing lines.

Role overview

• As an intern in the SRE team, you will closely collaborate with teams across departments to build and deploy systems and products that enable high performance and reliability.
• Design and develop tools and dashboards required for cutting-edge technologies and consumer projects; build flexible infrastructure and intuitive UI experiences.
• Participate in researching existing software and machine learning/deep learning models, propose improvements, and industrialize the product.
• Experience corporate IT operations and maintenance of corporate systems and cloud-based infrastructure to enable a highly connected and collaborative workforce.

Who We Look For

Requirements:

• Study computer science, data science, or a related field.
• Proficient in at least one programming language (such as Go, Python, Java, Node.js).
• Knowledge of ML frameworks, libraries, data structures, and modeling (e.g., PyTorch, HuggingFace libraries).
• Knowledge of basic networking, Linux, cloud providers, and container operations (e.g., Ubuntu, AWS, Kubernetes).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a passion for tackling challenging issues.
• Good teamwork spirit and strong communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of open-source LLM fine-tuning and AI infra techniques.
• Interest in networking, GPU/server hardware, and related hardware ecosystems.
