Your role

The successful candidate will join the global infrastructure team at QRT. You will be responsible for working in a team of data centre engineers responsible for the physical build and operation aspects of QRT data centres and co-location estate. This data centre estate supports the firm’s research and is a core part of delivering our infrastructure services, which deliver the highest performance computing and data platforms for the firm. Our co-location estate is global in nature and supports our trading infrastructure in major financial markets worldwide.

You will be accountable for the physical work and logistical aspects of data centre and co-location build-outs, working closely with several global third-party providers and ensuring that implementations meet the highest operational and security standards. The role will cover BAU maintenance as well as new project work.

The role will involve domestic and international travel.

Your skillset

• Good knowledge of data centre and financial markets exchange co-location vendor ecosystems across the Asia Pacific region.
• Experience working with third parties to successfully execute changes.
• Strong ability to build physical infrastructure to clear, maintainable standards.
• Excellent documentation skills ensuring data centre builds and designs are fully documented.
• Desire to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Ability to speak multiple languages is an advantage.
