Our teams are involved in various investment opportunities including corporate equity, growth equity, infrastructure, and impact funds. Our Private Equity team seeks long-term capital appreciation by committing equity to high-quality companies with strong management.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be involved in all stages of the deal lifecycle. Examples of responsibilities include:

  • Meeting and liaising with target company management teams and founders
  • Developing investment theses
  • Researching and assessing domestic and global markets
  • Building financial investment models
  • Coordinating with offshore GS domain experts, third-party diligence advisors, and investment banks
  • Presenting in investment committee
  • Participating in deal structuring and investment documentation
  • Managing and monitoring portfolio companies post-investment
  • Supporting portfolio companies in strategic and operational projects including M&A, capital raising, asset sales, and budgeting

Qualifications

Highly motivated team player to be integrally involved in all aspects of private equity investing. The ideal candidate has passion and curiosity about investing, as well as strong accounting/finance and business assessment skills.

Other criteria include:

  • 1–3 years investment banking and/or private equity investing experience
  • Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
  • Demonstrated proactiveness and ability to adapt quickly to a variety of industries
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Strong technical skills in financial analysis, research, and financial model building
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to self-direct, analyze, evaluate and form independent judgments
  • Ability to effectively interact and build relationships with senior management and global stakeholders
  • Commercially savvy with discretion regarding highly confidential/sensitive information
  • Integrity, ethical standards and sound judgment
  • Close attention to detail
  • Excellent English and Mandarin
