Enhancement of Wet Processing Equipment Performance through Alarm Reduction and Process Optimisation

Project Description

This project provides hands-on exposure to semiconductor wet processing systems used in NAND manufacturing. The intern will work alongside process engineering, equipment engineering, and external technology partners to evaluate recurring equipment alarms, identify root causes, and develop engineering solutions that improve equipment performance, production output, and product quality.

Objective of the Project

To reduce recurring equipment alarms and improve process stability by identifying root causes and implementing sustainable engineering improvements that enhance manufacturing efficiency and yield performance.

Project Scope

  • Analyse historical equipment alarm data to identify recurring failure patterns
  • Perform root cause evaluation using engineering and statistical methods
  • Develop and validate corrective actions to reduce alarm occurrences
  • Engage with cross-functional teams including process engineering and external technology partners to implement improvements
  • Monitor post-implementation performance to ensure sustainability of solutions
