Position: Off-cycle Intern – Financial Sponsors Coverage Group (London), 6 months

Responsibilities

• Work with experienced senior coverage officers to provide business unit analytics and coverage officer support on client initiatives.
• Support coverage officer activities by coordinating potential buyers lists and details for advisory pitches, maintaining data, attending internal and external meetings, and preparing ad hoc reports, analyses, and marketing materials.
• Collaborate with M&A sector and restructuring deal teams to ensure accurate and timely information flow.
• Contribute to a collaborative and entrepreneurial environment that provides meaningful exposure to senior-level professionals.

• Strong academic track record
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
• Strong quantitative, financial, and analytical abilities
• Demonstrated interest in financial sponsors and credit hedge funds
• Self-motivation and the ability to work cooperatively with all staff levels in a fast-paced, demanding, but rewarding environment
• Understanding of valuation theory, methodologies, and applications
• Strong Excel modelling skills, including LBO and DCF
• Exceptional work ethic
