Role Overview
Interactive Brokers seeks an FIU Analyst who is hardworking, detail-oriented, careful and a problem solver. This Analyst will assist in reviewing and analyzing the firm's customers' cashiering activities per the firm's AML/CTF policy. This role requires high energy and learning new skills in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the monitoring and surveillance of cashiering transactions by IBKR clients in the Asia Pacific region
- Communicate with clients on monitoring and surveillance-related matters
- Review and provide suggestions to enhance existing surveillance systems/reports
- Manage projects to build and implement approved enhancements and changes required due to regulatory changes
- Stay up to date with changes in market conduct, AML and other related regulations
- Stay up to date with APAC and international developments in relevant areas of regulations and law
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Familiarity with AML/CTF rules
- Experience in dealing with exchange and regulatory enquiries
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is essential
- Good communication skills and customer service experience would be advantageous
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Solid academic background with relevant qualifications
- Knowledge of AI/Machine Learning would be advantageous
- A "can do" attitude and willingness to learn
- Good organizational skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize and work with minimal supervision
- A high degree of comfort and fluency with computers and technology and an understanding of how technology is applied to business and regulatory problems, or the ability to develop this rapidly
