What you will do
Through our internship program, you will gain first-hand experience with an industry leader in the energy and petrochemical industry. Your work contributes to the growth and future of our business as we provide energy, sustainable products and solutions for society. You will have the opportunity to explore your career aspirations while delivering tangible benefits throughout our business from invaluable on-the-job experience. You will have a supervisor and a buddy assigned to help you navigate the organization, advise on development, and learn what it takes to achieve your goals.
As part of the assessed internship, you’ll have a formal final review on project delivery and performance by your supervisor. You’ll also be asked to prepare a final presentation or report about your project. Your internship scope includes:
- Experience life as a Manufacturing Engineer with opportunities to support technical activities including monitoring, troubleshooting and optimization
- Support improvement initiatives and programs to achieve safe, reliable and optimized unit operation
- Investigate equipment failures and ensure recommendations address the root cause with cost-effective mitigations
- Involvement in real, significant projects—participate in challenging development projects, gain insights into operational fundamentals, and contribute to business needs

About you
Skills and Qualifications
- Preferably in your penultimate year of study
- A degree in Engineering, preferably Second Upper Honors and above, and/or leadership experience in non-academic activities or National Service
- Willingness to work at one of our assigned manufacturing locations in Jurong Island or Pioneer Road
