Join us as a Commercial Growth Account Executive. In this role, you'll manage the complete sales process and drive revenue growth in your assigned region from current customers. What you will be doing
- Manage a book of business worth several million dollars, responsible for growth and retention of high-value accounts
- Proactively identify, qualify, and close a sales pipeline
- Strategically prospect into CTOs, Engineering/IT Leaders, and developers
- Become a product expert and understand all components of MongoDB
- Manage your time efficiently
- Build strong and effective relationships, resulting in growth opportunities
- Partner with Solution Architects and work closely with the Professional Services team to achieve customer satisfaction
- Participate in our sales enablement trainings, including our comprehensive Sales Bootcamp, advanced sales training, and leadership and development programs
What you bring to the table
- 1–3 years of field experience in quota-carrying roles in a fast-paced and competitive market
- Demonstrated ability to open new accounts and generate a qualified pipeline
- A proven track record of overachievement and meeting sales targets
- Ability to articulate the business value of complex enterprise technology
- Skilled in building business champions
- Fluent in English
- Must reside in the territory
- Driven and competitive with a strong desire to be successful
- Familiarity with databases; familiarity with development and open source technology is a plus

- Prior sales methodology training (e.g., MEDDIC, SPIN, Challenger Sales)
- Familiarity with databases, development, and open source technology is a plus
