Responsibilities and Impact
- Manage the accurate and timely trade capture of a wide range of products, including derivatives across equities, credit, fixed income, and FX
- Support Portfolio Managers by monitoring risk and position management platforms, investigating discrepancies, and troubleshooting issues as they arise
- Monitor affirmation and matching platforms to ensure all trades are correctly booked, affirmed, and reflected in risk systems, escalating issues where appropriate
- Work closely with Sales, Trading, and Operations teams to ensure effective trade allocation, confirmation, and settlement, maintaining strong communication across functions
- Prioritize and manage multiple trade-related queries throughout the trading day, balancing urgency and risk to ensure critical issues are addressed promptly
- Maintain ownership of the end-to-end trade lifecycle, ensuring data integrity and operational controls at each stage
- Review and evaluate existing processes with a view to leveraging technology and automation to reduce manual intervention and enhance efficiency
- Partner with the wider Operations team to design and implement automation and process improvements, contributing to a scalable operating model
- Responsible for P&L accuracy, whether intraday T+0 or T+1 in accordance with the valuation policy
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year’s experience in a financial services environment
- Working knowledge of at least one asset class; experience with derivatives and convertible bonds is advantageous
- Corporate actions knowledge desirable
- Understanding of the full trade lifecycle and associated controls
- Strong Excel skills and experience using Bloomberg Terminal
- Interest in, and some hands-on exposure to, coding (preferably Python)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated interest in process improvement

The applicable base salary range for this role is $100,000 – $120,000 USD. Base pay is determined by factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and applicable minimum wage requirements. This role may be eligible for performance-based incentives, in addition to base compensation. The position is also eligible for an annual incentive plan.
