Role Overview

You will be responsible for optimizing supply to demand requests as well as developing and improving the performance levels of the overall FE probe network, working with various internal and external groups to improve overall FE output performance, and meeting the output commitments on time. You will facilitate the rollout of key indices to Micron executives highlighting issues and mitigation plans. You will audit and improve process efficiency and incorporate automation into metric updates.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and standardize network probe metrics for Die Mix attainment and operations efficiency. Benchmark BIC metrics and deploy best-known methods across the network to drive standardization.
  • Establish probe card and tester best practices for capacity optimization, allocation, and cross-site/cross-platform fungibility.
  • Drive probe flex alignment with Global Supply Chain and Central Probe Planning to meet die mix variability.
  • Drive die mix optimization, probe card swap processes, auditing, and maximize vendor capacity/allocation to meet network needs.
  • Collaborate with SMAI on automation to ensure consistency and sustainability.
  • Systematize probe business processes and audit sites for compliance.
  • Synchronize Die Mix processes with Probe Planning processes.
  • Coordinate long-term and short-term planning for probes and ensure alignment with IE planning, establish a Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) cycle and feedback loop.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
  • 1–2 years of experience in Probe Planning, Probe Manufacturing, Inventory Control, Production Planning, or Line Management.
  • Proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g., Python, SQL, Tableau) to perform detailed analysis and provide metrics visibility.
  • Proven ability to make decisions, multi-task, troubleshoot problems, and address root causes.
  • Proven ability to build consensus in cross-functional groups.
  • Ability to analyze line performance and provide line direction through concepts of Line Management and Inventory Management to meet the business plan.
  • Understanding of weekly wafer starts and wafer outs business processes.
