Role Overview
The PMO supports the London technology team, working closely with stakeholders in Paris. Responsibilities include tracking programme deliverables and milestones, supporting the adoption of the project lifecycle and deliverables, coordinating programme-level risks and issues, monitoring projects transitioning into normal service, and managing regular project and programme reporting cycles. The PMO collaborates with London streams to collate information for reporting and provide general assistance.
Planning, Reporting & Control
- Collaborate with the Head of Global Markets IT, UK, to develop the IT Project Standards guide, incorporating input from wider groups, the Development Team, and the Service Implementation Lead to ensure best practices.
- Build a repository of project templates, both technical and management, to support project teams; work with the Head of Global Markets IT to implement a best practice approach for managing deliverables and timelines.
- Continuously evolve processes and templates throughout the project lifecycle.
- Implement project standards across all projects in the portfolio.
- Update and administer the programme plan using reports from multiple stakeholders gathered through meetings and workshops.
- Prepare consolidated materials from project reports for monthly reviews.
- Complete and distribute bi-weekly and monthly portfolio-level reports; create and manage the RAID log and commodities dashboard.
- Ensure all enhancements, bugs, and change requests are managed and tracked within JIRA, which serves as the primary source for reporting and prioritization of the Book of Work.
Project Management
- Manage the portfolio-level benefits register, ensuring all benefits are planned, monitored, and benefits realization is tracked.
- Support the implementation of the quality strategy, including relevant processes and templates, across all initiatives.
- Implement the change control process across all projects and portfolios.
- Document minutes of meetings and open action items, distributing them promptly with clear indication of owners and estimated resolution times.
- Raise and manage production incident tickets, provide follow-up, and report key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Perform general PMO activities supporting various streams within the Commodities IT domain.
Additional Responsibilities
Work as a junior Business Analyst on selected initiatives to gain an understanding of Financial Markets.
