Trading Desk Operations Engineer

About the Position

We are seeking individuals eager to apply their technical, organizational, and communication skills in a fast-paced environment to join our Trading Desk Operations Engineering (TDOE) team. Our TDOEs play a vital role in the firm’s success by building and maintaining desk infrastructure that supports the trading of thousands of financial products across 200 venues in over 45 countries.

Trading Desk Operations Engineers manage the operational aspects of the trading desk’s activities and collaborate with various groups within the firm to ensure accuracy and efficiency. You will work alongside traders and developers on projects such as:

• Managing and optimizing infrastructure and operational processes
• Supporting trading systems and workflows by executing data queries and coordinating with stakeholders
• Designing and implementing solutions for a range of trading and operational issues on the desk
• Communicating with clearing firms and external counterparties to settle and clear trades

Our trading desks are central to a collaborative office environment. We integrate new hires through a hands-on, interactive approach, providing mentorship from TDOEs, traders, and developers. You will participate in development and training programs during your first few months. A background in finance is not required; we value curiosity and problem-solving skills over prior knowledge.

This role is highly hands-on; you will build tools that enable the firm to operate smoothly and execute trades efficiently. You will use technical coding, organization, and collaborative problem-solving to deliver innovative solutions that enhance our trading operations.
