Radix Trading's university postings say its team is "built mostly from academia", not from other trading firms, and that interest in trading is key but a background in finance is not.

The postings ask for highly analytical candidates in mathematics, physics, computer science, statistics or engineering, so a candidate in those fields with no finance exposure fits the stated profile and the application rests on academic and technical background rather than finance experience.
