About The Role

As a Building Maintenance Technician at Knight Frank Property & Facilities Management Singapore, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our buildings and estates. Reporting to the Site Head, you will perform various technical tasks, including hands-on repairs, routine safety checks, and preventive maintenance, to keep all facilities in optimal condition. We are seeking a proactive team player with relevant experience in building maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Hands-On Repairs: Perform general building repairs, including but not limited to electrical, plumbing, and painting. This includes reading and interpreting technical diagrams such as electrical and plumbing drawings and site plans.
• Daily Safety Checks: Conduct routine checks for electrical safety hazards and water ponding, collaborating with security personnel to maintain site safety.
• Preventive and Ad-Hoc Maintenance: Assist in executing both scheduled and on-demand maintenance tasks to ensure facilities remain in optimal condition.
• Monitoring M&E Systems: Maintain accurate records of Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) readings and monitor the performance of associated systems and equipment.
• Supervision of Contractors: Assist in overseeing maintenance and servicing work conducted by external contractors, reporting any irregularities or concerns to the site manager.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

• At least 1 year of relevant working experience in building maintenance.
• Good knowledge of building, mechanical, and electrical systems.
• Ability to communicate and interact effectively with people, demonstrating strong teamwork skills.
• Minimum qualification of NITEC in Building Services, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering or an equivalent certification.
