Position Summary

A Private Equity Intern in our London office will engage in all aspects of the private equity investment process, including sourcing and evaluating potential investments, presenting opportunities to the broader team, performing due diligence, and implementing value creation opportunities at portfolio companies.

As we generally operate in small teams, interns will play an integral role and gain significant responsibility from Day 1. The internship is ideally suited to help interns develop a well-rounded investment understanding, supported by dedicated training and mentorship. The internship will also provide a great opportunity to liaise with teams across all business units of KKR and external market participants (e.g., bankers, advisers).

Responsibilities

• Conduct commercial, operational, and other analyses to assist in making investment decisions.
• Perform financial analysis and modeling to assess company valuation.
• Assist with the execution of transactions.
• Drive thematic and industry research.
• Draft decision papers for internal discussions.
• Work alongside portfolio companies and operating partners.

To be considered for the internship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Currently enrolled as an undergraduate or master's student in their penultimate/final year of school or recently graduated.
• Available to start the internship in January 2027 and work a minimum of 3 months.
• Available to work on-site in London five days a week.
• CV must be in PDF format and include expected graduation month/year and relevant grades (including High School).
• Prior relevant experience in the form of an internship or part-time work is strongly preferred.
