KKR's 2027 Summer Analyst Program is an opportunity to join a leading global investment firm during your undergraduate career.

We are recruiting for Summer Analysts for KKR's Insurance business in our New York office within the Risk - Sector Analytics team. The Sector Analytics team collaborates with investment teams and other stakeholders to provide quantitative solutions for investment and asset management. The team maintains asset cashflow models covering the majority of the Insurance investment portfolio, which are continually improved as new investments are added to the platform. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to enhancing the asset and cashflow modeling platform. An ideal candidate will combine a strong background in quantitative analytics with prior understanding of finance and fixed income investment products. Summer Analysts will gain hands-on exposure to various areas of Risk, Investments, Actuarial, and Finance across KKR’s insurance platform. Following the internship, 2028 full-time offers may be extended to exceptional performers.

Responsibilities

  • Work with senior team members to address various requests from investment teams and other stakeholders.
  • Build out and improve end-to-end processes focused on providing cashflows and analytics for a diverse array of fixed income investments.
  • Analyze historical asset performance data, identify key drivers, and create business intelligence reports.
  • Utilize scalable technologies to enhance the efficiency of various investment analytics processes.
  • Contribute to the development and testing of new asset modeling frameworks.
  • Work with other team members to build investment-oriented applications and Tableau dashboards.
  • Address time-sensitive requests for live trades.

Qualifications

  • Anticipated graduation date from an undergraduate program between December 2027 and June 2028.
  • Area of study in a quantitative discipline such as math, statistics, computer science, or a related technical field.
  • Strong analytic, programming, and database skills.
  • Experience with Python is preferred; SQL and Excel are a plus.
  • Understanding of various asset classes, such as fixed income, equities, credit, foreign exchange, derivatives, and risk management concepts.
  • Comfort using AI tools to improve productivity and quality of work.
  • Curiosity about and openness to adopting emerging AI technologies in day-to-day workflows.
  • Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated outputs for accuracy and relevance.
  • Strong project management, verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work with people of varying backgrounds.
  • Strong sense of business ethics.
  • Ability to work independently and excel in a dynamic, exciting, and fast-paced environment.

Base Salary Range: $100,000 – $110,000 USD
