The Co-Development Business Unit is looking for a UX Engineer. This is a one-year contract role. (Internal Code: A26364)

What You Will Do

• Collaborate closely with product managers, UX designers, and software engineers to define and develop web applications.
• Work with the design team to maintain the design system across all products.
• Translate product specifications into fully functional interfaces using the latest web technologies.
• Build and maintain extensible front-end code.
• Develop prototypes to demonstrate new technology opportunities.
• Propose structural approaches for front-end development.
• Possess a keen eye for technical details when bridging the gap between design and technical feasibility.
• Be sensitive to the impact of front-end implementation on the end-users.
• Write production-quality code.
• Learn and share knowledge within a multi-disciplinary team.
• Act as a key bridge between designers and engineers.

What We Are Looking For

• Degree or Diploma in Computing, Design, or a relevant field of study.
• Demonstrated ability to build software.
• Experience using Figma.
• Excellent understanding of web development, including experience with HTML5, CSS3 (SASS), Node.js, and modern JS frameworks/web components (React.JS, Vue.JS, Angular, etc.).
• Ability to solve abstract problems.
• Skill in balancing design requirements with technical feasibility.
• A team-player attitude, capable of working in a self-directed culture and navigating ambiguity.
• Proactive and able to take initiative to see tasks through.
