About the Role

We are hiring a People Operations Specialist to run the employee lifecycle at Radiant and continuously improve it as we grow. We are looking for someone who loves building automations, agents, and workflows, and wants to apply that instinct to People Operations. You will own the data and systems behind our People Ops stack (HiBob, Ashby, Notion), using this ownership as the foundation to transform slow, manual, multi-tool processes into systems that largely run themselves. This role is for someone who prefers delivering a working automation this week and iterating on it next week, rather than spending a month planning a perfect system—someone who gains genuine satisfaction from making the unglamorous work disappear. You will bring expertise, energy, and commercial thinking to help elevate our People processes. The core challenge is implementing the systems and frameworks necessary to scale quality, consistency, and fairness as we grow, without adding unnecessary bureaucracy.

What You'll Do

People Operations (~80%)

• Run the end-to-end new joiner onboarding process, treating every manual step as a candidate for automation with the goal of making the process faster and less hands-on, not just executing it reliably.
• Administer employee lifecycle changes (promotions, transfers, terminations) across all systems, building necessary guardrails, validation rules, alerts, and review steps.
• Process documentation: Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), checklists, and playbooks for onboarding, offboarding, and systems administration, ensuring documentation evolves with processes.
• Own and execute core HR operations across the entire employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employee changes, and off-boarding.
• Ensure compliance with local labor laws and internal policies across different regions.
• Coordinate team socials, offsites, and other events that bring a distributed team together.
• Liaise with our payroll providers (UK and US) to process changes, corrections, and new starters/leavers during each cycle.
• Keep policies and the employee handbook current, ensuring compliance with any UK/US regulatory changes during the coverage period.
• Translate employee feedback into concrete action points and employee journey initiatives.
• Provide first-line employee support for day-to-day questions regarding payroll, leave, benefits, and administration.

Improving Processes (~20%)

• Support and contribute to the improvement, automation, and streamlining of HR processes, with a focus on scalability and efficiency.
• Design, build, and maintain automations, workflows, and AI agents across our People Ops tooling (HiBob, Ashby, Notion)—from simple triggered workflows to more sophisticated internal agents—to automate multi-step manual processes.
• Contribute to and take ownership of parts of people-related projects and process improvements.
• Translate employee feedback into specific, sequenced actions complete with owners and deadlines, rather than just a list of themes.
• Use data from our people systems to demonstrate where time is being spent, what is successful, and what needs fixing.
• Keep People pages in Notion current and improve them based on observed points of confusion among colleagues.
• Partner with relevant stakeholders on UK employment and compliance judgment calls while building subject matter fluency. You will own the system and the escalation path, with this ownership increasing over time.

What You'll Bring

• Experience working in a high-growth environment, ideally remote and across multiple geographies, with comfort working asynchronously across EMEA time zones.
• Experience building people systems in scaling companies, ideally through comparable periods of rapid growth.
• A practical, hands-on approach—comfortable building from scratch rather than inheriting an established function.
• Strong judgment and a commercial mindset.
• The ability to influence managers and senior leaders through credibility rather than authority.
• Comfort with ambiguity, pace, and a deliberately low-process environment.
