Role Overview

Overall responsibility for writing Man Group level content, including the development of Group-wide marketing materials, creating and maintaining high-quality questionnaire content, and management of the content management system. This content will need to be prepared regularly for use with Man's institutional and retail client base. The successful applicant will be expected to produce topical and professional content and materials quickly, efficiently, and to a very high standard. Based in London, the role will involve working closely with a wide range of senior stakeholders across Man Group.

Responsibilities

• Assume a critical role within Man’s Global Investment Specialist team, with a distinct focus on Man Group level content.
• Develop and maintain Man Group level marketing materials, alongside high-level overview/introductory content on Man’s Discretionary, Systematic, and Solutions capabilities.
• Work closely with key stakeholders across the business to create Man level RFP/DDQ and marketing content of the highest quality.
• Write answers and maintain the integrity of Man level answers within Man’s proprietary central RFP database.
• Ensure that the latest research, analysis, and messaging is incorporated into all content.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with senior sales/portfolio managers/Compliance/Legal and middle office stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities and initiate projects from a Man Group perspective where Investment Specialists can add value for the wider business.

Key Skills & Experience

• Degree level education in a relevant discipline required. Financial qualification preferred, or working towards qualification.
• Approx. 1-3 years’ Client Service or content creation experience within the industry.
• A good understanding of the asset management industry.
• Ability to work with and manage a wide variety of stakeholders, including senior Portfolio Management and Sales individuals.
• Attention to detail is paramount to ensure the highest quality content is distributed to clients at all times.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficient in understanding institutional/retail client expectations and requirements.
• Strong organisational and time management skills. Ability to prioritise work effectively.
• Ability to work independently within a team to meet demanding deadlines. Comfortable in an entrepreneurial environment and seeks to continuously enhance relevant skills.
• Solid working knowledge in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Experience with RFP content management systems.
