Agency Desk Role

We serve as the primary point of contact among clients, lenders, Front Office, and Back Office. The candidate will assist or be responsible for the following activities:

Responsibilities

• Transaction Approval and Credit Oversight:
  • Review and approve all loan requests prior to processing and funding.
  • Review and approve all Letter of Credit (LC) requests submitted by clients, regardless of the issuing lender selected.
  • Verify the correct loan product, LC type, tenor, amount, currency, and transaction structure.
  • Ensure the commodity being financed is approved under the applicable credit facility and internal credit guidelines.
  • Confirm transactions comply with approved credit agreements and facility documentation.
  • Validate lender availability and commitment prior to approval.
  • Ensure funding notices are distributed to all participating lenders.
• Issuing Lender Limits and Facility Monitoring:
  • Monitor issuing lender limits and overall facility utilization.
  • Track borrower exposure against approved commitments and available capacity.
  • Monitor all sublimits established within the credit agreement.
  • Ensure no transactions exceed approved lender commitments or facility limitations.
  • Escalate potential limit breaches and obtain required approvals when necessary.
• Collateral Management:
  • Monitor collateral requirements and pledged collateral assets.
  • Ensure collateral meets eligibility requirements under the credit agreement.
  • Track collateral coverage ratios and collateral-related borrowing base requirements.
  • Coordinate collateral audits and ensure findings are received and reviewed.
  • Monitor collateral-related reporting requirements and covenant obligations.
• Covenant and Compliance Monitoring:
  • Track all financial and non-financial covenants within the credit agreement.
  • Ensure covenant certificates, borrowing base reports, compliance reports, and supporting documentation are received on time.
  • Maintain covenant tracking schedules and reporting calendars.
• Funds Flow Review and Administration:
  • Assist in the preparation, review, and approval of the transaction for the funds flow report before closing.
  • Review agency fees, upfront fees, commitment fees, LC fees, amendment fees, and other transaction-related charges for accuracy.
  • Ensure collateral audit fees, legal fees, counsel invoices, and other closing costs are incorporated into the funds flow and allocated appropriately.
  • For existing clients, review all pro-rata share adjustments resulting from assignments, amendments, increases, reductions, or lender transfers.
• Documentation Management:
  • Manage and maintain all facility documentation throughout the transaction lifecycle.
  • Upload and maintain all documentation within Debtdomain.
  • Track outstanding documentation and ensure all required documents are received on a timely basis.
  • Ensure executed legal documents, amendments, notices, certificates, and compliance reports are properly stored and accessible.
• Closing Administration:
  • Ensure all administrative forms are completed and received from participating lenders.
  • Collect, review, and maintain all required tax documentation, including W-8, W-9, and applicable withholding tax forms.
  • Ensure that we receive a CP memo from the lawyer stating that all legal requirements and closing deliverables are satisfied prior to funding.

Mandatory Requirements

A questionnaire will be provided to check your VIE (Société Générale and Business France) eligibility. For an efficient analysis of your application, please ensure you truthfully answer all the questions.

Kindly note that it is mandatory to provide formal proof of your M2 diploma validation before the assignment start date; no VIE mission will begin without this document. Grade sheets are not accepted as justification of the diploma.
