As a Relationship Banker in a Chase Branch, you will represent our brand and culture with the utmost hospitality. You will leverage the latest banking solutions and cutting-edge financial technology while providing friendly and attentive service. You will take a lead role in acquiring, managing, and retaining meaningful client relationships, using your financial knowledge to offer thoughtful solutions that address their needs and contribute to the success of the branch.

Job Responsibilities

• Put clients first and exceed their expectations by delivering attentive and friendly service in a welcoming environment.
• Manage assigned clients, proactively meeting with them both in person and over the phone to build relationships, understand financial needs, and tailor product and service recommendations.
• Engage in clear, polite, and consultative communication to understand and help clients, building trust by asking questions, actively listening, and anticipating their needs.
• Educate and connect clients to technology solutions, such as leveraging the Chase Mobile App, Chase.com, and ATMs, to meet their banking needs anytime, anywhere, and however they want.
• Quickly and accurately learn products, services, and procedures to effectively consult with clients about banking solutions, while also collaborating with and connecting them to our team of experts for specialized financial needs.
• Adhere to all policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

• 1+ year of sales experience in Retail Banking, Financial Services, or other related industries with proven success in establishing new clients, deepening relationships, and delivering results.
• Ability to create memorable client experiences and elevate the client journey.
• Excellent communication skills, both in person and over the phone, with a proven ability to tailor the features and benefits of products and services to clients with differing needs.
• Ability to quickly and effectively resolve client issues with attention to detail, ensuring a consistent client experience.
• Operate within established risk parameters/tolerances and meet all internal/external risk and compliance obligations, including the completion of required training.
• High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent.
• The Securities Industry Essential (SIE) exam, FINRA Series 6, state registration (including 63 if required), and Life licenses are minimum requirements. All unlicensed applicants must obtain their licenses through JPMC’s licensing program within 180 days of hire; study materials and support are provided.
• Ability to work branch hours, including weekends and some evenings.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

• College degree or military equivalent.
• Experience adhering to banking policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
