This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a highly analytical and meticulous individual to join the Threat Intelligence Research & Analysis (TIRA) team within the Cyber Security Group (CSG). As a TIRA Analyst, you will play a critical role in identifying, analysing, and tracking advanced and emerging threats that may impact the Singapore Government. You will be responsible for developing actionable intelligence from your findings to inform WoG detection and response capabilities.

What You Will Be Working On

• Conduct in-depth research of advanced threat actors to analyse their Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs), victimology, and motivations to provide operational teams with behavioural elements to develop detection rules and adversary simulations.
• Support investigations by contextualising identified indicators and performing sensemaking of findings to derive intelligence assessments.
• Correlate data from multiple intelligence sources to identify patterns and trends, recommending how defenders can mitigate against pertinent threats.
• Produce timely and accurate intelligence briefings, reports, and other intelligence products to disseminate findings to technical and executive audiences.
• Evaluate and recommend tools and methodologies to improve research and analysis capabilities.
• Stay informed about the evolving cyber threat landscape by continuously monitoring threat intelligence feeds and attending industry conferences.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Highly developed research and analytical skills, including critical thinking and contextual analysis.
• Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Engineering, or Cybersecurity, or related fields (strongly preferred).
• Cybersecurity certifications (e.g., GCIH, GCTI, GREM, CISSP) are an advantage.
• Proven experience in processing, handling, and analysing large-scale datasets.
• Practical knowledge or hands-on experience in leveraging AI and automation tools.
• Relevant experience in various cybersecurity domains (e.g., threat intelligence, incident response, malware analysis, risk assessment) and data analysis (strongly preferred).
• Good understanding of cyber threat analysis models (e.g., Cyber Kill Chain, Diamond Model, MITRE ATT&CK) preferred.
