Growth Support Specialist
The Growth Support Specialist is responsible for collaborating with pursuit leaders, market development teams, and business development professionals to support local market, line of business, and industry intentional growth activities.
This role utilizes firm tools to support growth initiatives, which include, but are not limited to: intentional growth teams, market-facing sponsorships and events, marketing campaigns, maintenance of customer and prospect data quality, and preparation of brand- and risk-compliant proposals and pursuit deliverables.
With guidance, this specialist demonstrates the ability to manage the needs of their teams and stakeholders with proficient time management, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
Essential Duties

Intentional Growth Strategy Support
Coordinate and support the local market, line of business, or industry-focused intentional growth strategy.
Support regular cadence of growth meetings, including:
- Coordinate growth meeting schedule.
- Prepare and distribute agenda and growth documents.
- Document discussion and action items.
- Maintain repository of meeting notes and related documents.
- Monitor activity and progress with team members between meeting cycles.
- Keep relevant stakeholders apprised of progress.
Provide comprehensive support for the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform to monitor the pipeline, document relationship activity, and track due dates.
Perform account, data, and various other types of research to support pursuit efforts.
Provide ad hoc support as needed for CRM requests, pipeline reports, and the development and production of presentations and pursuit documents.
Proactively manage time and execute responsibilities.

Market-Facing Event Execution
Work directly with the market developer or pursuit leader to support the successful execution of market-facing seminars, conferences, meetings, and networking events. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Planning and purchasing, coordination, and delivery of required on-site materials.
- Audio visual setup.
- Registration management.
- Post-event wrap-up.
Coordinates registration and return on investment with various trade and industry groups and local market or industry sponsorships.
Stays abreast of systems, tools, and resources beneficial to pursuit teams, such as industry and line of business collateral, white papers, and other thought leadership.
Reviews charges on the firm-issued purchasing card for accuracy and reconciles them in a timely manner.

CRM and Data Management
Serve as the primary resource for CRM database support within the local market and/or industry.
Supports and encourages the training and adoption of data tools among industry and local market users.
Provides assistance capturing account, contact, opportunity, and activity data in the CRM.
Provides assistance with ad hoc pipeline, industry, or market data reports and dashboard coordination requests for industry or local market users.
Responds to standard requests from the national in-take portal.
Acquires specialized training and becomes educated on the proper execution of CRM functions and tasks limited to the growth support team.
Adheres to firm data integrity policies and procedures.
General Responsibilities
- Review pursuit deliverables to monitor brand and risk compliance and adherence to high document quality standards.
- Have the opportunity to complete proposal training to develop the skills necessary to prepare pursuit documents as capacity allows, leveraging existing templates, text, and graphics.
- Regularly engage, participate, and contribute to group discussions and activities within their focused area, such as industry, line of business, or local market growth teams.
- Collaborate effectively with growth support leaders, team members, other ESS subfunctions, and other internal firm client service teams to ensure business needs are met.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements
Experience
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in a related field or area.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects of low to moderate risk.
- Ability to interact with multiple levels of leadership.
Education
- Associate degree or 2+ years of experience in a related field.
Technical and Soft Skills (Required)
- Demonstrates a basic knowledge of the tools, resources, and technology required for assigned responsibilities.
- Some experience with customer relationship management software.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills and the ability to learn the programs/software utilized by the firm.
- Excellent people skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse audience.
- Strong grammar, proofreading skills, and experience.
- Effective organization, prioritization, and time management skills, along with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to prepare presentations, including charts, graphics, and tables, speaker notes, and handouts.
- Ability to balance multiple tasks and projects.

There is an expectation that your first ninety days of employment will be in-office five (5) days per week. After those 90 days, you will have the ability to work a hybrid schedule, minimally with three (3) days in-office.

Compensation Range: $46,100 - $73,700
