Job Description

This role is within the area of Software Engineering, encompassing the development, maintenance, and optimization of software solutions/applications.

  • Applies scientific methods to analyze and solve software engineering problems.
  • Responsible for the development and application of software engineering practice and knowledge in research, design, development, and maintenance.
  • Requires the exercise of original thought and judgment, along with the ability to supervise the technical and administrative work of other software engineers.
  • Builds skills and expertise in the software engineering discipline to meet standard expectations for the applicable role, as defined in Professional Communities.
  • Collaborates and acts as a team player with other software engineers and stakeholders.

Job Grade Specifics

This role requires more than one year of relevant work experience. Candidates must possess a solid understanding of programming concepts, software design, and software development principles. The individual must consistently work to direction with minimal supervision, producing accurate and reliable results. Expectations include the ability to handle a range of tasks and problems, demonstrating the application of skills and knowledge. The role involves organizing one's own time to deliver against tasks set by others on a mid-term horizon, while working cooperatively with others to achieve team goals and positively impact project performance by making informed decisions.

The base compensation range for this role at the posted location is 67733 to 108811.

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The listed base compensation range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting, and this range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

The actual compensation offered may fall outside the posted range, as it is determined based on multiple legally permitted factors, which may include: Geographic location, Education and qualifications, Certifications and licenses, Relevant experience and skills, Seniority and performance, Market and business consideration, and Internal pay equity.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
