What You Will Do
We are seeking a Client Management professional with strong client service skills to serve as a Specialist supporting regional Client Managers for the EMEA region, initially focusing on the UK and Switzerland. The Client Management Team supports asset classes including public and private fixed income, equities, real estate, and alternatives. A successful candidate will build their professional skills, learn about the asset management industry, and work closely with Client Managers and various investment and functional support teams within a collaborative international environment servicing institutional investors.
What You Can Expect
- Act as a support to Client Managers, providing a high-quality service to our clients and their business partners, including fund administrators, custodians, and investment consultants throughout the client’s life-cycle.
- Serve as a liaison to stakeholders, providing responses to recurring and ad-hoc data requests from clients and their business partners, utilizing internal information systems and engaging various internal groups such as Sales, Client Reporting, Compliance, Risk Management, and Investment teams as needed.
- Partner with the Client Manager and internal groups to ensure client and business partner needs are met, for example, in handling and processing:
- Portfolio compliance rule breaches and inquiries, including restricted issuer list updates.
- Investment guidelines adherence.
- KYC and LEI renewals.
- Coordination and preparation of client meetings.
- Market and portfolio commentary requests.
- Client questionnaires and database update requests.
- Support the onboarding process of new mandates, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure client intentions are accurately reflected in documentation.
- Maintain client requests within CRM systems to ensure Client Managers have a comprehensive record of requests and actions taken.
- Work closely and proactively with Client Management teams to execute client communication needs efficiently and effectively.
- Support Client Managers in interactions with portfolio management and other investment professional teams (e.g., Portfolio Analytics, Risk Management).
- Attend team meetings to develop a strong understanding of PGIM’s key investment strategies and product knowledge.
- Identify opportunities for automation to streamline simple tasks and enhance business scalability.
- Ensure all information is organized securely and orderly to enable seamless access for relevant team members.
What You Will Bring
- Relevant internship and/or early-career experience in client services, investor relations, or a similar function.
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) or higher.
- Interest in and basic understanding of capital markets, including Credit, equities, real estate, and alternatives, as well as portfolio management techniques.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint and the ability to perform basic quantitative data analysis.
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to processes.
- Strong analytical and data skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
- Team player with high energy and a positive attitude.
- A proactive, adaptable self-starter attitude geared toward client solution solving.
- Desire for development and learning opportunities.
- Aladdin and Salesforce experience is beneficial but not required.
- Strong critical thinking and logic skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic, and international cross-border environment.
What Will Set You Apart
- European or Middle Eastern language skills would be an advantage.
- Understanding of the asset management industry and financial markets.
- Proficient use of AI technology.

- Annual Leave: 25 to 28 days, based on years of service, at full pay.
