Role Summary

We are looking for an Intern to join the Franklin Templeton office in Singapore. The internship is expected to commence in December 2026 for 25 to 35 weeks.

The role will support the Benefit Street Partners (BSP) Business Development Team in Singapore across market research and analysis, key client mapping, process enhancements, and fundraising activities.

How You Will Add Value?

Market Research and Analysis

  • Help conduct market research and analysis on investment opportunities, supporting the team in staying informed about the latest trends and developments within APAC.

Mapping Key Clients in the Region

  • Assist in mapping key clients across the APAC region by researching and identifying potential clients, helping the team understand the market landscape and target the right clients.

Process Enhancements

  • Enhance the current opportunity tracking process by creating a consolidated spreadsheet/database across the APAC team to record engagements and track opportunities.

Fundraising Support

  • Support preparation for client events and roadshows, and help manage pipelines and meeting notes.

What Will Help You Be Successful in This Role?

  • University students in second year or above
  • Good finance knowledge and flexibility in working hours (e.g., communication with HQ in New York)
  • Keen interest in building a career in financial services and the fundraising market
  • Prior knowledge in alternative investments and private debt/credit markets is a plus
  • Experience using AI tools to streamline workflows, automate tasks, and improve productivity is an advantage
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Proficiency in English
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Responsible, team-oriented, meticulous, and detail-oriented
