Eligibility

You are eligible to apply if you:

• Are currently pursuing an undergraduate or master’s degree, with an expected graduation date of December 2027 – June 2028.
• Must be able to begin full-time employment at a PIMCO office between January 2028 and August 2028.
• Are on track to achieve a minimum bachelor’s degree (or equivalent).
• Are business proficient in English (proficiency in any Asian languages will be a plus).
• Can commit fully to the internship for the full program duration.

How You’ll Excel as an Account Analyst

You’llexcel as an Account Analyst if you:

• Have strong interest in financial markets, macroeconomics, and investment finance.
• Possess proficient to advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Can clearly articulate ideas and strategies verbally and in writing.
• Have outstanding communication skills to operate in a complex financial and mathematical environment.
• Have a passion for process enhancement through technology enablement (e.g., AI, programming, data modelling).
• Bring the following traits: ethical, collaborative, organized, flexible, high energy, self-starter, accountable, and humble.
• Demonstrate curiosity and experience using emerging technologies and AI tools in your work or school projects to solve problems and drive better outcomes.

Role Overview

In this dynamic role, you will support the servicing of PIMCO’s Institutional clients and/or Global Wealth Management (GWM) businesses. Your primary responsibility is to support PIMCO’s investment professionals to ensure the highest level of service to our clients.

During your internship, you will gather, analyze, and discuss economic and market trends; evaluate portfolio structures; deliver attribution analyses to Account Managers and their clients; and support business development activities in the region.

PIMCO Internship Experience

• The internship is a 10-week program running from early June to mid-August, with an expectation that you are available for the full duration.
• Your supervisor, peer mentor, senior leaders, and team provide guidance and mentorship throughout the summer.
• You will gain hands-on experience with AI-powered tools from day one, supported by training and resources to build future-ready skills.
• You will receive feedback at mid- and end-of-summer as part of a formal review process to help you stay on track with your summer goals. You’ll also participate in cross-divisional education, networking, and social events.

Interview Process

• After completing the assessment, you will participate in a final round of live interviews via video conference, typically including both behavioral and technical questions.
