Internship Program Overview

Our Interns & Co-ops are our entry-level talent pipeline for GF across the globe. Our goal is to provide students with meaningful work experience that will equip them with the skills to embark on a career in the fast-paced and growing semiconductor industry after graduation. As an intern at GF, you’ll experience one-on-one mentorship, work assignments that prioritize your growth and potential, professional development opportunities, and the chance to network with executives.

Summary of Role

The Talent Development (TD) Internship involves facilitating and promoting continuous learning and professional development at GF. You will play a critical role supporting the team in creating a culture of learning and supporting employees’ skill development. The TD Intern will join an enthusiastic and passionate team and have exposure to TD colleagues from across the globe.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Partner with HR and business stakeholders on a project with global impact.
  • Provide insights, reporting, and recommendations to GF HR leadership.
  • Engage with the intern cohort through professional development and networking activities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve leadership development and onboarding programs.
  • Support research and design of new learning programs, including collaboration with external partners.
  • Create marketing and communication materials to promote leadership development initiatives.
  • Analyze learning data and support impact reporting and presentations.
  • Collaborate with global Talent Development teams and DEIB to support scalable, inclusive learning solutions.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Psychology, Communications, Business Administration, Education, Anthropology, Sociology, or other related field.
  • Must be in good academic standing.
  • Ability to commit 40 hours per week during the internship.
  • Available for a 16–24 week credit-bearing internship commencing January 2027.
  • A genuine interest in Talent Development, with a strong desire to learn, grow, and develop both personally and professionally.
  • Strong organizational, time-management, analytical and communication skills.
  • Can collaborate effectively in a team environment while also demonstrating the ability to work on projects independently.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior related internship or co-op experience.
  • Demonstrated prior leadership experience in the workplace, school projects, competitions, etc.
  • Project management skills, including the ability to innovate and execute on solutions that matter and navigate ambiguity.
  • Strong interest in leveraging AI tools and emerging technologies to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support effective decision-making.
  • Ability to think creatively and outside the box.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office programming such as PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
  • Experience designing and working in digital platforms such as SharePoint or Canva.
