Introduction
Responsible for supporting manufacturing operations by ensuring production equipment is maintained in a safe, reliable, and production-ready condition. This role performs preventive maintenance, basic troubleshooting, equipment monitoring, and shift support activities to maximize equipment uptime and manufacturing efficiency. The incumbent will work closely with Engineers and Specialists to support production objectives while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
Your Job Duties
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and carry out Calibration/Assessment (CAS) per specification.
- Execute good maintenance of support tools.
- Perform 12-hour shift duties to support production in the Module, ensuring equipment readiness and worthiness for production.
- Execute in-depth preventive maintenance (PM) as per the PM schedule and specifications.
- Troubleshoot basic equipment-related issues and minimize equipment downtime.
- Assist Engineers in the installation and hookup of new or upgraded equipment.
- Monitor Statistical Process Control (SPC) charts using SPACE, and understand all Process Requirement (PR) rules, ensuring correct CAS execution.
- Use measurement instruments effectively for data collection.
- Maintain good housekeeping in the production floor, sub-fab, office, and maintenance support areas.
- Ensure and follow good safety practices and safe custody of tools, equipment, and other Module properties.
- Provide proper and accurate handoff of line issues and documentation (filling out and filing checklists).
- Maintain awareness of wafer scrap reduction.
- Coordinate with Specialists to ensure work efficiency meets Manufacturing (Mfg) and Module objectives.
- Be responsible and accountable for complying with and implementing Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security (EHSS) system, policies, procedures, and guidelines applicable to the scope of work, thereby maintaining a healthy and safe workplace.

- Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.
Required Qualifications
- Nitec / Higher Nitec/Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical / Mechatronics / Microelectronics Engineering.
- 0-2 years of working experience in the Electrical / Electronics industry.
- Ability to perform 12-hour rotating shift duties.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong logical and analytical thinking skills.
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Flexible and willing to support overtime when required.
- Self-motivated, meticulous, and disciplined with a commitment to quality and safety.
