These internships are ideal for undergraduate students. Successful completion in 2026 could lead to an offer to join one of Zurich’s graduate programmes starting in 2027.
What You Can Look Forward To
You’ll join the Energy Underwriting team and develop expertise across the breadth of insurance—understanding, assessing and reducing risk, as well as claims, pricing, and insurance frameworks—with a focus on sustainable energy. This will help you build a strong foundation for your future career.
- 10-week structured development programme
- Work on a UK-wide intern project with other interns across the business

What You’ll Need
- A passion for sustainability
- Indefinite, full right to work and reside in the UK (no sponsorship)
- Must have resided in the UK for a minimum of three consecutive years
- Be within commutable distance of the office workplace stated in this advert (hybrid role)
- Be in your penultimate year of undergraduate study and predicted a minimum 2:1 from your bachelor’s or equivalent degree
- At least 96 UCAS points (CCC grades or equivalent) from 3 A-level subjects
- A* to C grade (9 to 4) in Maths and English GCSE
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to study for further professional qualifications
