Overview
Zurich industrial placements are one-year programmes offering a real job with real responsibility and an insight into working at Zurich. With support from experienced actuaries and analysts across the UK (and our wider global business), you’ll explore how an actuarial career contributes to understanding risk, making informed decisions, and shaping business strategy.
These placements are ideal for students in their penultimate year of study. Successful completion of the industrial placement in 2027 could lead to an offer of a place on one of our graduate programmes starting in 2028.
What you can look forward to
From day one, you’ll work on real business challenges that make a genuine difference. Our insurance solutions help protect everyone from individual customers and small businesses to local authorities and some of the world’s largest organisations—supported by teams of actuaries who help understand risk and support decision-making.
You’ll begin with a dedicated buddy to help you settle in and answer questions as you start your career.
