Job Description

Global Operations prioritizes putting customers and partners first by developing the workforce of the future through strategic, inclusive, and collaborative ways of working. The organization upholds HPE’s values—partner, innovate, and act—to plan, source, and provide quality customer and partner experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Independently identify and resolve both common and complex challenges, leading sophisticated Manufacturing Robotic Automation projects or key modules of large-scale programs within operations, supply chain management, and logistics domains.
  • Collaborate with business functions to identify pain points and recommend effective solutions addressing the organization’s specific challenges.
  • Design, drive, and implement programs to elevate the maturity and effectiveness of manufacturing landscapes, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and future readiness.
  • Drive or support end-to-end project management activities—from ideation and planning to stakeholder alignment, execution, monitoring, and implementation. Gain hands-on experience across the full project lifecycle, including initiation, scheduling, risk management, and post-implementation review.
  • Assist in developing detailed project charters, ROI analysis, and presentation materials needed to transition a PoC into a fully funded project.
  • Take ownership of decision-making processes within projects, contributing innovative digital solutions and strategic insights to management teams.
  • Research and evaluate emerging technologies relevant to manufacturing (beyond robotics) to inform the digital roadmap.

Education and Experience Requirements

Required Skills

  • Understanding of supply chain ERP/MES/planning systems.
  • Familiarity with Industry 4.0 and Smart Factory concepts, including the application of IoT and Robotics for manufacturing automation.
  • Basic proficiency in analyzing operational data (e.g., using SQL, Power BI, or similar data visualization tools) to measure the effectiveness of PoCs (e.g., measuring OEE or cycle time improvements).
  • Critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate ideas.
