Program Overview

As a 2026 International ABL - Global Banking Analyst Program - Summer Intern – London, you will begin with orientation and training led by top professionals and expert instructors. The program equips you with the technical and practical knowledge needed to make an impact in Global Banking.

Throughout the summer, you will be supported by team members and mentors to navigate the firm and deepen your understanding of the businesses. You will also have access to senior management and a strong network of peers to support ongoing professional development. Top-performing summer analysts may receive an offer to join the two-year ABL Global Banking analyst program.

You will spend your summer working alongside experienced professionals to develop solutions that help shape the global economy. You will join International Asset-Based Lending (ABL) within Global Banking, working with senior originators, credit risk managers, bankers, and clients across multiple sub-lines of business (LOBs), including Commercial Banking, Global Corporate Banking (mid-cap & large-cap), and the Investment Bank.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist ABL originators in managing internal aspects of existing client relationships.
• Support industry and credit analysis, including reviewing financial statements and helping the credit approval and documentation process.
• Gain exposure to product, strategy, or client coverage-based teams.
• Prepare internal memos, such as senior management briefings and decision committee memoranda.
• Participate in the analysis and negotiation of financing requests in coordination with credit, product, legal, and compliance teams.
• Coordinate with product and country teams to identify and execute transactions for clients globally across a range of products, including capital markets, risk solutions, and transaction banking.
• Network with industry leaders and complete best-in-class training to understand how the firm’s businesses work together to deliver excellent customer service.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

• Familiarity with business fundamentals.
• Ability to solve problems independently and as part of a team.
• Enthusiasm, energy, and a drive to succeed.
• A collaborative mindset with a willingness to partner and work in a team.
• Confidence and initiative to take on early responsibility and manage your own projects.
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
• Fluency in English.
• Expected graduation date between January 2028 and August 2028.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

• On track for a United Kingdom 2:1 Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in undergraduate studies.
