Internship Overview

Interns will be allocated to different Actuarial teams and be exposed to various actuarial functions, including:

• Product Implementation: Participate in the actual implementation of new product launches, including model updates and supporting UAT.
• Channel Support: Liaise with departments and channels to handle special quotations and ad hoc enquiries.
• Experience Monitoring: Perform experience and data analysis investigations.
• Financial Reporting and Analysis: Support regular financial reporting of business results across various reporting metrics. Assist with the implementation of the new accounting standard for insurance contracts (IFRS 17).
• Participating Business Management: Participate in participating fund management, including asset share calculations, bonus review, and other projects.
• Capital Management: Assist in capital adequacy under the RBC basis and assess impacts of different capital management initiatives.
• Modelling and Innovation: Support the maintenance, development, and enhancement of actuarial models.
